Congratulations to the following students who represented Clearview proudly at the Year 5/6 EPro 8 Semi-Finals last week at Kirkwood Intermediate:

These students worked hard for two and a half hours to problem solve, design and construct structures which helped them complete a series of challenges.  The team came fourth in the semi-final which is a fantastic achievement!   

Jack found the final moments of the competition quite intense, but it was fun to be a part of this team. Ava's favourite part was designing the apple picking device, the team managed to pick seven apples with their creation.  Finn enjoyed weighing the apples and then doing the maths to find out how many apples they could pick in an hour to get easier points.  A highlight for Daniel was constructing a conveyor belt out of the materials provided and using the electronic systems.

A huge thank you to Alison Heath for helping with transport and to those parents who supported the team at the event.  Tino pai Clearview Citizens!
