On Friday the 23rd of October, 12 Year 7 students attended National Young Leaders Day at Christchurch Arena.

Leaders in their chosen categories gave inspirational speeches about being brave, being strong, and being steadfast.  Some of the speakers we had the privilege of listening to were William Pike, Riley Hathaway, and Okirano Tilaia. 

We were even treated to a mini-concert, the talented Josie Moon performed two of her original songs. We saw some highlights of Caleb Clarke’s recent performances for the All Blacks before getting the chance to meet him and ask him questions. 

Overall it was a very inspirational day and we all enjoyed this amazing experience.
