As a teaching staff, we spent a full day at Taumutu’s Ngati Moki Marae before school started back.

 This was a tremendous opportunity to connect with our local runanga, to reacquaint ourselves with their cultural narrative and to spend some time developing our very own ‘Clearview Cultural Narrative’.  Our teachers experienced a powhiri onto the marae, they shared their mihi, they heard about the history of Taumutu and we even visited some historical sites around their area.
