Open Afternoon

Parents, students and extended family are warmly invited to come to our open afternoon on Tuesday 2nd February from 1:00 - 3:00pm. Homebase teachers will be available to meet and greet families in their new learning zone during this time.

There will be a BBQ cooking and the Five to Nine Cafe will be open so feel free to pop down to enjoy a drink and sausage or two!

We will have some gentlemen from the Men’s Shed here engraving names on scooters for a gold coin donation so please come and see them to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity.

The Leadership team, along with our 2021 Student Leaders will also be available to provide tours around the school and answer any questions you might have. All welcome.

Stationery

Stationery packs can be purchased online from Office Max and are delivered to your door. OfficeMax no longer has any retail shops so we recommend that you order this now so it arrives on time. Packs are set for each year level as specified at My School.  Search for Clearview Primary and select the year level for your child, then select the stationery items you require.  

If your child is a new entrant, select the Uranga – NE/Year 1 (Homebases 3,5 & 6) list. Please note: all of the stationery on the list will be required at school, but some items are sundry and do not need to be purchased brand new.  If you require a plastic book box, this needs to be purchased from the school office by eftpos/credit card or you are welcome to pay via the internet into our account: ASB 12-3147-0367927-00 with your child’s name and ‘book box’ as reference, the cost is $5.00 per box.

School Uniform

Please visit our school website for our uniform guidelines. Our supplier is NZ Uniforms and the uniform can be ordered online at NZ Uniforms or you can visit their shop at 455 Blenheim Road, Sockburn. Their hours are Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00pm and Saturday 9:00-1:00pm.

Our Parent Community Group (PCG) holds a second hand uniform sale each term. The start of year sale will be on Tuesday 2 February between 1:00-3.00pm. They have a selection of most uniform items. As this is held the day before school starts, please ensure that you do have one item of the polo shirt, skort or shorts and sunhat, so the children can arrive on Wednesday in their correct school uniform.

Please ensure all items are named.

BYOD

In 2021, BYOD will continue in Years 3-8. As this is entirely optional, parents are not obligated to go out and buy a new device, it is merely an invitation. BYOD will complement classroom programmes. Students will still have access to the school’s technology, BYOD will just allow for a better student to device ratio.
