Parent Library Book Reviews

Tracey Young —

Each month I will be reviewing one of the fabulous books we have in our Clearview Parent Library. Pop along to view the collection on the shelf in the Five to Nine Cafe. If there’s anything of interest to you, just issue it to yourself by filling in your details in the issue book which is on the shelf beside the collection.

As always, I am interested to know of any titles you would like to see in our Parent Library. Please email me with your ideas claireb@clearview.school.nz.

Lastly, if you have any suitable books to donate to the Parent Library, please drop them off to our office staff. Many thanks in advance.

Happy reading.

The 5 Love Languages

The Secret to Love That Lasts

By Gary Chapman

This is a great, easy read book that clearly outlines the 5 languages of love in a humorous and practical way. What’s your primary love language? Is it words of affirmation, quality time, receiving gifts, acts of service or physical touch? Find out by completing the Love Language Personal Profile at the back of the book and apply it to forever change your relationship for the better.

Written by Gary Chapman who is an author, speaker, and counselor. Gary has a passion for people and for helping them form lasting relationships. He travels the world presenting seminars. His radio programme airs on more than 400 stations.
