On Monday 4th September the Ellesmere Speech Competition was held at Prebbleton School.  Avril Eatherley (Year 7) and Emma Gibbens (Year 8) represented Clearview.  There were 13 children speaking in each year group. They had to speak on their chosen topic for over two minutes.  Avril's speech was trying to persuade us to dance and Emma as to why we should use eco friendly bags verses plastic bags.  Both girls spoke clearly and were entertaining with Emma finishing 3rd overall in the Year 8's.
