Dr Fi McAlevy is in her first term on the Clearview Board of Trustees. She holds the Property and Health and Safety portfolios.

Fi and her family live in Rolleston. She is a lecturer in early childhood education and has students all around New Zealand.

As part of Fi's role, she meets regularly with the Health and Safety team at school.  It is their job to ensure that the requirements of the government Health and Safety At Work Act are met.  A main component of this is risk identification, assessment and management. Fi says, "Health and safety at Clearview is a partnership between all of us. We all have a part to play in making sure our school is a safe place."

Fi is also involved in any support needed for property decisions and initiatives at Clearview. She is really enjoying being involved in the Clearview Board and being able to give back to the local community.
