At Clearview Primary we provide a range of opportunities for children to challenge themselves and extend their skills.

We are currently inviting students from Years 4 - 8 to take part in the optional ICAS and Great Kiwi English, Mathematics and Science competitions outlined in the information notices attached below.

This year all ICAS and Great Kiwi Competitions will be completed online.  There has been an increase in the price of the ICAS tests, with these now being $15.00 per test and the Great Kiwi Competitions are $9.00 per test.

The following tests are being offered at Clearview in 2019:

ICAS (Years 4 - 8)

• Digital Technologies - 3rd September
  
• Writing - 10th September
• Spelling Bee - 12th September

Great Kiwi English, Maths and Science Competitions (Years 5-8)

The  Great Kiwi Science, English and Mathematics competitions are skills-based and closely aligned with the New Zealand Curriculum. The tests are designed by New Zealand teachers for New Zealand students.  These supervised online tests will take place in the last 3 weeks of Term 2 and the first week of Term 3.
