The EPro8 Challenge - engineering and problem solving competition

Last night, our two Year 7/8 teams competed in the EPro 8 competition and our two Year 5/6 teams competed this morning. Their team work was put to the test along with their collaborative, engineering and problem solving skills. 

Teams competed to:

• build large sized structures
• solve practical problems
• engineer using pulleys, motors, gears, wheels and axles
• invent machines that can complete simple tasks
• undertake unusual and fun experiments.
• construct basic electronic circuits.
• solve interesting problems using practical maths

This was a very competitive event with a large number of local schools taking part. Well done to all of our students who were involved, you were a credit to our school..
