In Homebase 9 & 10 we have been learning how to write animal descriptions and descriptions of a family member.

Our students had to research key facts about their chosen animals and follow the correct procedure on writing a descriptive piece of writing. 

The students also had to draw and label the parts of their animal and had to brainstorm the favourite things they liked about their family member and include them in their writing. 

They did a great job learning a new style of writing.
