Coffee Bean Cuisine Competition

Clearview Primary —

Clearview Primary and local charity ‘One Mother to Another’ are collaborating to create a unique culinary competition to help raise money for the amazing work this charity does.

‘One Mother to Another’ provides gift bags to distressed mums and carers who find themselves in either the Children’s Acute Unit or the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Christchurch Hospital. The need is great – around 170 gift bags per month.

Over the past few months, the team at ‘One Mother to Another’ have been busy collecting recipes from celebrities and renowned chefs including, Annabel Langbein, Peter Gordon, Pete Evans, Josh Emmett and Toni Street to form a cookbook which will be sold around New Zealand.

The competition is called ‘Coffee Bean Cuisine’.  We invite you to collect a bag of our Clearview coffee, served at the Five to Nine cafe, and use it to create a delicious dish of any kind, sweet or savoury, food or beverage. Dishes entered will be judged by celebrity chef Jax Hamilton, and the winning entry professionally photographed and published alongside the celebrity recipes in the ‘One Mother to Another’ cookbook.
