For the past two years, Nora Guise has been battling cancer and she’s only 6 years old. Nora was diagnosed with cancer in September 2018. Two months ago, Nora and her family went to Texas to get treatment for Nora. Nora is the second person in the world to get this treatment. The whole school pitched in to get her there. There is also a Give A Little page set up for her. On the Give A Little page alone generous people have raised around $200,000 so far. During mufti days students and staff have raised around $47,300, $13,000 of that was from mufti days, and the other $34,000 came from the auction.

On Nora’s army day What Now came and filmed some things. Some of the Burnham Army came to school as well to teach us some marching. We also had a special assembly all about Nora, we had Ella Benn come in and speak to us about her journey with cancer. Ella Benn had cancer in her leg and had to get it amputated. She has improved in her swimming, got better and better, even with one leg.

Nora's army assembly was such a lovely acknowledgment of her special day.
