Each team had a work station like this, with all necessary equipment and a booklet of four challenges to choose from by Angela Scott

Some clever Clearview thinkers have been involved in the EPro8 Challenge at Avonhead School over the last two days.
With a Y7/8 competition on Wednesday night, and a Y5/6 competition on Thursday morning, this is the first time the EPro8 Challenge has been run in the South Island.
EPro8 stands for Engineer, Problem Solve and Innov8. Children had four challenges to choose from, with optional 'add ons' for each challenge to earn extra points over a 2.5 hour time period.
Our Clearview Children all performed extremely well! We were impressed with their team work, their ability to collaborate and their creative designs based on the challenges presented.
Congratulations to all children involved, and a massive thank you to the parents who were able to help with transport, and who even stayed to cheer the teams on. We could not have done this without you.
Some of our Clearview Teams have made it through to the next stage - the Semi Finals which we are super excited about! Mrs Scott will be in touch with more information when information of who has qualified comes through.
