This term the Cobham Kapa Haka group has participated in two festivals/performances. The Cultural festival involving schools from North Canterbury, and a performance at Burnside high school, in which our cluster of schools participated.
The Cultural festival took place at Horncastle Arena. We were the second to last to perform, and also ended the ceremony with He honore (a Waiata). In between Kapa Haka performances some schools did a wearable arts fashion show, as well as Irish dancing.
