Sports Academy was lucky to be invited to attend an event at Jade Software Company, to meet Tom Walsh. 

Sam Parks, Will Lindsay, Will Emslie and Kate Hastings got to listen to Tom Walsh as he talked about his personal journey to his bronze medal at Rio and winning the Diamond League Trophy. He spoke of challenges he faces, nutrition and what its like to be a professional athlete.  We also got to see some of his awards up close and personal.

I was really impressed with the questions the students brought along to ask Tom and I know that the students involved found the event interesting, motivation and enjoyable.
