The Cobham Cross Country Athletes hit Tauranga with a BANG!!!!

We had a fantastic morning at the Cross Country event even though the weather was a bit drizzly. All the athletes competed really well and all should be proud of their times and positions from today.

The rest of the Cobham athletes arrived in Tauranga late in the afternoon and got to experience the awesome Opening Ceremony at the ASB Arena in Tauranga. The games were opened by the Tauranga Mayor and we also had performances from Binnie Tipene and Kings and all of the athletes (all 9360 of them) were pumped to have the games begin!
