Students are organised in ability groups across both year groups.

Mathletics

Mathletics is part of Cobham’s homework programme for maths. As well as being able to use Live Mathletics (to practise the basics in a competitive, timed situation), Rainforest Maths and Problem Solving, teachers will have set courses for their maths class to support the learning happening in class. It is important that students have a chance to go on the computer to complete these activities. Teachers will keep track of progress and adjust programmes where necessary. Free Parent Access for Mathletics!

Parents can register for free parent access so you can view your child’s progress and 
certificates.

1. Visit www.mathletics.co.nz/parent
2. Fill in the required fields and submit.
3. Record your new username and password.
4. Each student’s Mathletics account holds information relating to individual results and 
progress.

Please ensure that your child is the only one to access and use their account.

Certificates

Students are awarded certificates based on a point system for completing activities.

The certificate system works as follows:

• 1000 points in a week = 1 Bronze certificate
  
• 5 Bronze certificates = 1 Silver Certificate
  
• 4 Silver Certificates = 1 Gold certificate
