Everyone will compete on the day and is expected to dress in their house colors. Their results will be calculated into a score, which will be collated to house/class totals.

Two strands of this athletics day will operate at once. If a student chooses Competitive they can compete in any Challenge Strand events if no clash occurs.

Competitive strand – REGISTER HERE students will need to fill out the form located on the sports page on the Cobham Website. These events will be scheduled to start at certain times during the day and take priority over the challenge strand. The last date for registration is 22nd October. Please inform students that there will not be late entries whatsoever due to allocated heats etc. Each competitor will need to have their own scorecard to keep track of their athletic standards for house totals. This will be supplied to all competitors on the day by Mr. Gibson. If a competitive strand competitor only competes in one Competition event they will have a default score of 1 for the events they didn’t compete in. For example student competes in 60m, 200m, Long Jump but doesn’t compete in High jump or both throwing events then that student will score 1’s for high jump and both throwing events. Scale runs from 4 being the max to 1. (See athletic standard scoring system below). Students can compete in any of the challenge strand where clashed don’t occur.
