Experience Cobham

Christine Lambie —

Click on our link to book a space for your Year 6 child to spend a fun filled morning at Cobham Intermediate

In order to navigate your options and make your decision regarding your child’s education for the next two years, we provide Experience Cobham. This enables your child to experience Cobham with our current students, participating in normal activities on a regular day. This will give them a taste of life at Cobham and help either alleviate any concerns and provide further insight about what is on offer at Cobham.

Our aim is to make this transition as easy as possible for you and your child. The children will mix with current students and staff, and also meet other children who may attend Cobham next year.

We have two mornings available for Year 6 students from non-contributing schools to visit Cobham Intermediate - Wednesday 19th June or Friday 21st June 2019.

We provide transport for our contributing schools (Burnside, Fendalton, Ilam, Roydvale, Waimairi, Wairakei) to attend Experience Cobham. Each individual school will notify their students of their dates for this opportunity. Once these dates have been confirmed you will receive a letter from your school with all the details.

We will provide morning tea and water for students.

This year we have added a component of Experience Cobham just for our prospective parents. We strongly encourage parents to attend for all or part of the morning. In past years parents who have attended have enjoyed the tours of the classrooms, observing current Cobham students and teachers and having a chance to ask specific questions of myself and our Deputy Principals.

The schedule for the morning is:
