A Note from the Sports Coordinator

My name is Courtney Ross and I am the Cobham Sports Coordinator at Cobham Intermediate. This will be my sixth year working at Cobham and I am also the classroom teacher in Room 21.

Sport is something I am incredibly passionate about; I have personal experience in a range of sporting codes and have played hockey at the elite level for the past decade. Since moving to Christchurch at the beginning of 2016, I have been privileged to play for the Canterbury Cats Women’s hockey team who won gold at the National Hockey League, as well as play for the Canterbury Barracudas Women’s team. I have been highly involved with coaching and have worked with a multitude of teams throughout the years.

I encourage all students to make the most of the sporting opportunities available here and am looking forward to another exciting sporting year at Cobham! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries.
