BASKETBALL

Basketball is one of our biggest sports at Cobham and games are played on a Friday after school/evening. The number of teams and competitions that we enter will be dependent on numbers, talent, AND availability of volunteers who are willing to coach.

If students are selected for a Cobham Basketball team, they MUST be prepared to play every week. If they are successful in being selected in one of our top teams, there will also be the opportunity to play in other tournaments throughout the year, some of which include trips outside of Christchurch in the school holidays (these are not compulsory if you just want to play on Friday nights).

There will be a fee of approximately $80 per student for the basketball season (terms 2 & 3), which covers registration fees, coaches, & uniform hire. Tournaments will be paid in addition to this amount. As basketball is an OPTIONAL extra-curricular activity at Cobham, payment must be made prior to the beginning of the season. Trials dates will be confirmed via the daily notices and emailed to the provided email address.

Registrations are now closed.
