Over the past few weeks, we have been looking at all of the sports in contention to attend the AIMS games and we have made the decision that the following sports will compete strongly up in Tauranga.

Girls Basketball - trials to be had

Girls 11-a-side Hockey - trials to be had

Boys Hockey 

Boys Football - trials to be had

Swimming Team - 1 (+1 tbc)

Tennis Team  - 6 participants selected 

BMX - 1 participant selected 

Cross Country - selected from 21st June event

These decisions are hard for us to make and we know there will be some disappointed students in other sports. We would like to make it very clear that we do not make these decisions lightly and we have a lot of conversations that allow us to come to the conclusions.

Trial dates for sports teams confirmed below....

If your child wants to attend these OPEN trials, can you please have a discussion at home regarding your support for your child in terms of payments. The reality is that these team sports will cost around $850-$900 for the week. The cost does include everything from flights, accommodation, food, transport and entry fees. There won't be any additional costs.

There is no official registration for the trials so your child will need to mark sure they attend promptly and let the teacher know their name and room number.
