Canterbury Championships Qualifying

Date: Tuesday 4th April

Time: 9am-1pm

Venue: Selwyn Aquatic Centre, Rolleston

Transport: Bus to and from

If you place in the top 3 of the following events you will have the choice to enter into the 50m-year level or 100m open race of that discipline.

· Year 7 Girls and Boys, Year 8 Girls Freestyle

· Year 7 Girls and Boys, Year 8 Girls Backstroke

· Year 7 Girls and Boys, Year 8 Girls and Boys Breaststroke

· Girls Open Butterfly

If you (year 8 boys) place in the top 2 of the following events you will have the choice to enter into the 50m-year level or 100m open race of that discipline.

· Year 8 Boys Freestyle 50m

· Year 8 Boys Backstroke 50m

· Boys Open Butterfly 50m

If you place 4th or 5th of the following events you will have the choice to enter into the 25m race of that discipline.

· Year 7 Girls and Boys, Year 8 Girls and Boys Freestyle

· Year 7 Girls and Boys, Year 8 Girls and Boys Backstroke

· Year 7 Girls and Boys, Year 8 Girls and Boys Breaststroke

If you place 6th or 7th in any event you will be 1st and 2nd reserve if any placeholders above you should not decide to enter into that discipline.
