Exchange Vs The Kings School (Sydney) 26th June

Dear Parents / Caregivers

We are pleased to advise you that your child has been selected to represent Cobham Intermediate in our first ever exchange game with an Australian Prep school (The Kings School). The sports competing will be Soccer and Rugby. Students will meet in the hall at around Noon on Monday 26th June, departing from school at 12.15pm. The Soccer Match (held on Jellie Park) begins at 1pm and should conclude by 2pm approx, and the Rugby match (held at Burnside High School) will being at 2pm which should conclude just before 3pm. The rugby team will watch the soccer match and then while the rugby team is playing the soccer team will watch. Room 5 and 6 will also be in attendance for support.

Following the games we will walk back to school for an after match in the Hall Approx 3:30pm start for speeches and some food for the athletes. Parents are more than welcome to attend the after match as well as the games.

Rugby

2pm Kick off @ Burnside High School

Should weather or grounds not be suitable, games will be cancelled.

We encourage parents to come and support your child and his / her team if you are able to.

All competitors are required to wear the correct team uniform.

Rugby – Rugby tops issued, mouthguards (own purchase) boots and red socks

Soccer – Soccer top issued, Shin Pads, Boots, Red socks
