Earthquake Memorial Ceremony
On Friday 22 February 2019, the Y8 Chorale members performed 'Let It Be' and 'A Million Dreams' at the Avonhead Cemetery Earthquake Memorial Ceremony.
It's been eight years since the earthquake in Christchurch that took 185 members of our city. We have had children at Cobham who lost their parent in the earthquake, so it is very apt that members of the Cobham Chorale contribute to this beautiful ceremony to honour the victims.
It was a beautiful day and the surroundings looked particularly colourful and serene. If you would like to view the ceremony, it is uploaded on to the Friends of Avonhead Cemetery Trustees website.
