Active Participation
He manako te koura i kore ai - A crayfish won't jump in your net, just because you wish for it.
During Weeks 7 and 8 we have been focusing on Active Participation as 'We choose to get involved'. Students who participate and contribute in communities have a sense of belonging and the confidence to participate within new contexts. They understand the importance of balancing rights, roles, and responsibilities and of contributing to the quality and sustainability of social, cultural, physical, and economic environments. At CSNS we offer a huge range of activities inside and outside of the classroom for tamariki to develop Active Participation.
