This year, we say goodbye to Mrs Cheyne and Mr Moore as they embark upon new adventures.

Mrs Cheyne has worked at Columba for twelve years across the Intermediate, English, Languages and Social Studies departments. She has been a 'second mother' to innumerable Year 7 girls as they make the move from primary to 'big' school and her patience and kindness, as well as her ability to teach organisation and self-management skills alongside the curriculum, are legendary. 

Mr Moore has worked at Columba for eight years as a German teacher and Head of Languages. Herr Moore is respected for his ability to maintain calm in the face of any challenge and loved by his students for his ability to bring German language and culture to life. His impromptu dances have also earned him legendary status!

Mrs Cheyne and Herr Moore - staff and students alike will miss you both and we hope very much that you will still visit us. You leave behind two very big pairs of shoes to fill! Au revoir, auf wiedersehen, kā kite.
