Popular Onigiri at Japanese Club
Japanese Club is back for Term 4!
This week, we celebrated the new term by making ever-popular onigiri (rice balls) freshly steamed rice, filled with furikake and katsuo bushi. The club members tried their hands at the traditional triangle shape as well as round and oblong-shaped balls. Predictably, not a single grain of rice was left!
Our language focus continues to be “Japanese for making friends” and learning to write the hiragana script.
Japanese Club meets at lunchtime on Tuesdays. All welcome!
