The 2020 SGCNZ University of Otago Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival went online this year due to Covid 19.

Nevertheless, this did not deter Columba's group, with their five-minute entry of The Winter's Tale, from seizing the opportunity to perform.

Set in a castle and a ballroom but given a contemporary edge, The Winter's Tale is directed by Zoe Revell-Lynch, with performances fromDana Wister, Sonya Taylor, Arielle van Blerk and Zoe Revell-Lynch.

Summary: The jealous King Leontes falsely accuses his wife Hermione being unfaithful with his best friend, and she passes away. Leontes exiles his newborn daughter, Perdita, who is then raised by shepherds for sixteen years, but later returns, only to fall in love with the son of Leontes' friend...
