In an attempt to help Year 12 Classical Studies students navigate the labyrinthine world of mythology, they were charged this week with the Herculean task of researching then recreating artworks which tackle mythological subject matter. Whether retelling the story of Echo and Narcissus, aping Augustus, evoking Circe’s witchy wiles or lamenting Orpheus’ tragic tale the, scope and creativity on display was nothing short of astounding - these students have certainly earned their place in the pantheon.
