Luna Koyama (Year 9), has won 1st prize in a recent Cool-As Kiwi Art competition, arranged in conjunction with the Wild Dunedin Festival of Nature.

This competition was judged by writer and illustrator Heather Hunt, a backyard conservationist and author of “It’s My Egg (and you can’t have it!)”. Heather was delighted with the beautiful detail of Ella’s pencil drawing of the kiwi, and the colourful background that surrounded it.
