On November 1st, the Mana Pounamu Young Achievers Awards were held at the Dunedin College of Education.

The Mana Pounamu Award Ceremony is an annual event that celebrates Māori students from Otago secondary schools who have achieved success in a variety of areas. Our recipients of the award this year were Lucy Cowie (Junior) and Ellen Foley (Senior).

Members from the Columba College Senior Kapa Haka were also there to show their support in the form of a waiata.
