After an outstanding season, the Columba College Senior A Netball team has made it through to the FUJIFILM New Zealand Secondary Schools National Netball Champs for the first time in history. Congratulations, Senior A!

What a season it has been so far for the Senior A Netball team! First, they made it into the Premier A Grade, secondly, they won the Otago Secondary Schools Netball Championships, and, most recently they played an outstanding tournament at the South Island Secondary Schools Netball Championships in Timaru to secure third place and an entry ticket to the National Championships. Well done, team! 

The Senior A team achieved the following results at the SISS Champs:

Day One:

Columba (50) vs St. Peters College (12)

Columba (36) vs Marian College (15)

Day Two:

Columba (28) vs Marlborough Girls (21) 

Columba (45) vs Villa Maria College (21)

Day 3:

Columba (46) vs Mt. Aspiring College (11)

Columba (25) vs Southland Girls HS (24)

Day 4: Finals

Semi-final: Columba (21) vs St. Margaret's (32)

3rd/4th Play Off: Columba (31) vs St. Hilda's (20)

Well done to all members of Senior A Netball for a bright 2022 season. Players, Coaches, Managers, and of course all families, friends and supporters who work behind the scenes to encourage, uplift and support our team - we thank you.
