NZ Touch Reps

Miss Turnbull —

What a dream and privilege it is to wear the silver fern and play for your country in the sport you love. For Maia Joseph and Meg Sycamore this honour happened in Australia recently as they took on the State champs with the NZ U16 Girls Touch Team.

These two have worked incredibly hard and earned themselves the role of the starting middle attacking players and were rewarded by setting up 80% of the team's tries across the four day event.

This deserving duo both notched up a hat-trick of tries each in their final game and lead the NZ Side to a 15-1 victory.

Meg Sycamore was named captain of her team and also received the Most Valuable Player Award, which is a huge accolade for such a talented athlete.
