Cultural Conversation Club

Miss Joanna Liu (Citizenship Prefect) and Miss Isobel Fraser (Publicity Prefect) — September 22nd, 2020

During Term 3, Isobel and I started the Cultural Club with the help of the International Department and Dr Macleod. Our aim was to foster an inclusive space for conversations about achieving greater cultural understanding at Columba.

We’ve held some pretty fantastic talks in the brief period we met every Tuesday after school, where we shared about: music, hobbies, traditions and holidays and school differences between Australasia and East Asia with the help of our international prefect, Minori Otsuka.
