Despite a sudden COVID-prompted end to the show last year, the cast has come back fighting and, with a few new faces and many returning ones, are ready to perform a spectacular show. Under the expert direction of Denise Henderson and Sarah Casbolt, the cast is coming together and already producing something of which they can be truly proud.

Disney’s High School Musical on Stage! is based on the 2006 Disney Channel Hit Movie, following the blossoming relationship between Troy, a high school jock, and Gabriella, the new smart girl at school. They meet on a family vacation while singing in a karaoke competition. Rediscovering each other at school, their relationship and their surprise decision to audition together for the school show are thwarted by the school’s current leading lady, Sharpay, and Troy and Gabriella’s well-meaning friends. Finally, Gabriella and Troy find a way to be themselves, proving we’re all in this together. Full of catchy songs and exciting dance routines, this musical explores themes of friendship, first love, and acceptance all to the backdrop of East High.
