Over the holidays, three Columba College students represented Otago at the 2022 New Zealand Gymnastics Championships and achieved some outstanding results.

The team travelled to Invercargill and completed two podium training sessions before the competition began on Thursday 14 July. Overall our students were phenomenal and represented the school with pride.

Open Level 3 Individual:

Olivia Wallace - 1st overall
Rahwa Steel - 3rd overall

Open Level 4 Individual:
Josie O'Neill - 1st overall

Open Level 3 Pairs/Trios:
Olivia Wallace and Rahwa Steel - 1st overall

Open Aerodance 15+ Years:
Josie O'Neill (Plus five other team members) - 1st overall

A special mention to ex-student Emma McCaughan who helps coach the girls and is also a member of Josie's Open Aerodance Team who won gold!
