A New Whare for the International Department
Our international staff and students gathered this week for the official opening of a beautiful new space for the International Department. It was heartwarming to receive Rev Nicol’s welcome and receive Chaplain Park and Chapel Prefects’, Alexandra and Eleanor's, prayer and blessing over our new home. Matua Price led the group in a Waiata helping to make our international students feel welcomed.
International Prefect, Oil, led the students into the International House, where students were able to share in the delight of the new and inviting space.
As we rebuild the department following a few challenging years in the international market, we look forward to welcoming girls into their "home away from home."
One of the reasons that international students succeed at Columba is the inviting and welcoming nature of our students and staff, now having a place for them to learn and thrive together can only support them further.
