Hockey at Columba College is a popular and interesting sport with five teams currently in the school, ranging in age and ability level.

Whether you are looking to play social or competitive hockey, there will be a team for you to enjoy and participate in with like-minded hockey players. Our First XI currently hold a position in the top tier secondary schools’ tournament in NZ (Federation Cup). This team attends a weekly Columba hockey academy, with the 2nd and 3rd XI teams, to encourage a growth and development culture within our younger group of players. Columba College hockey is one of the most enjoyable teams I have been a part of in my time playing, and there is no feeling quite like scoring in overtime to win the semifinal of a tournament like we did last year!
