SENIOR O’MATHALON

Columba College entered three senior Mathematics teams into the annual O'Mathalon Mathematics quiz at Logan Park High School on Thursday 10 August. The team comprising of Megan Guest, Ellena Khoo, Renee Grant and Jamie McAuslan achieved a top 10 finish. Our second team comprising of Kate Truman, Isabelle Keeling, Heather Robertson and Charlotte Smith also performed well placing just outside the top 10. Our final team comprising Yufei Cao, Panada Phradum, Gevalin Wongweerakit and Bella Han also placed outside the top 10 but gained valuable experience and had plenty of fun!

JUNIOR O’MATHALON

Congratulations to all of these O'Mathletes!

In each of the year level sections there were about 45 teams. A top 10 finish is quite prestigious. A top 3 finish is outstanding! The competition was very stiff throughout the evening. It is amazing to see how competitive these kids get - its great!

Please congratulate all of our O'Mathalon teams who all represented the school with pride - in particular:

Year 10 Team (3rd): Isabelle Coe, Shannon Sealy, Ella Calder and Sacha McConnon

Year 7 Team (4th): Bridgette Sutton, Olivia Thorn, Erica Su and Mabel Lee

Year 9 Team (9th): Georgia Wong, Megan McDiarmid, Anaya Cole and Olivia Charles
