Congratulations to Clara and Monet, our 2024 recipients.

On Thursday the annual ODT Class Act ceremony was held at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery.

Columba College is exceptionally proud of our two recipients, Clara and Monet, who received their awards from the Prime Minister, Christopher Luxon.

Finn Butcher, Olympic Gold medalist, was the guest speaker and he spoke along a very similar theme to Emma Chatterton at prizegiving - there will be bumps along the road, but be resilient and don't let them hold you back.

In the Prime Minister's message, he set the recipients three goals:

• Get connected to a mission bigger than yourself.

• Make choices about your future - don't let your future happen to you.

• People matter - invest in positive relationships.

This year we were also lucky enough to take six Year 10 students to help serve the food and drinks. They represented the College very well.
