Huge congratulations to Hayley Julian who has been selected for the upcoming New Zealand NZF U20s Training Camp in October!

Hayley travelled to Auckland during the April holidays for a one on one goalkeeping training session and a two day goalkeeping programme with Ruben Parker who is the NZ U17 Men’s and FFDP GK coach. Ruben identified Hayley as a promising young goalkeeper and recommended her for the U20 ID camp. Hayley sent game footage through to Auckland and has now been selected for the upcoming New Zealand Football Women's U20s camp which is to be held in October.

If Hayley is selected in the final team after the training camp, she will then compete at the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica next year!

Congratulations, Hayley! This is such an awesome achievement and detriment to all the hard work and time you have put into Football over the years. Columba College is very proud and we look forward to the announcement of the U20 Women's Football team come October.
