The Columba rowers are getting ready for the new season and would like to invite you to some upcoming events.

The rowing season is starting up again soon and we are looking forward to hosting our annual Have-A-Go day. This is open to anyone in Years 8-12 to come along and see what rowing is all about, and to ask any questions you may have. It will take place on the 14th of August from 8am-11am at the Columba Rowing shed, located at 41 Magnet Street. The students will have a chance to row in a boat on the water with some of our senior rowers, as well as learn technique on the rowing machines and conclude with a BBQ. 

As well as this, we are introducing an inaugural inter-house erg competition which will take place at lunchtimes over Weeks 2 and 3. House Points and prizes are up for grabs and we encourage everybody to get involved, not just those interested in rowing! Please see the posters attached below for details as to when your Year group's competition is.
