Dear Parents and Caregivers

The PPTA (teachers’ union) has advised the Columba College Board of Trustees that teachers who are members of the PPTA will be taking a Paid Union Meeting on the afternoon of Monday 24 February. After careful consideration, it has been decided that, due to the unavailability of staff, it would be impracticable for students in Years 7 – 13 to remain at school in the afternoon.

In this instance, the students are able to return home at the end of period 4 (12.40pm). If alternative arrangements for care cannot be made, the school will provide supervision for any students who do need to remain at school during the afternoon. After-school care will continue as normal.

Please note Junior School, Years 0 – 6, will operate a full normal school day.
