Year Three has been investigating helicopters as part of our Nature of Science topic.

We have explored how they keep moving and stay in the air by the spin of their rotor blades.

We made our own paper helicopters and tested them out by dropping them from a height and observing how they fall. We also made variations by adding a number of paper clips and blu-tack.
