We were very sorry to hear of the death of one of our longstanding former teachers, Mrs Dorothy Knudson. Dorothy taught Latin, English and, later, Classical Studies at Columba from 1979 until 2007. She was a highly intelligent, gentle, kind and caring teacher and colleague, whose memory lives on in the Knudson Bust for Excellence in Classical Studies, that is presented each year at our Senior Prize-Giving, and also in the poems, she enjoyed writing. 

Our thoughts are with her partner, Mr Rolf Feitscher, her five children and many grandchildren as they adjust to their loss.
