A team of avid young scientists have been instrumental in bringing increased recognition to STEM achievements at Columba College.

Olivia Charles, Angela Fu, Maia Robertson and Chloe Heineke are passionate about STEM (Science, Engineering, Mathematics and Technology) and about bringing more women into the field. Thanks to their efforts in presenting a thoughtful and thorough proposal, Columba College is thrilled to announce the introduction of a specific STEM Blue to be awarded students who have demonstrated significant commitment to and high achievement in STEM beyond the classroom and curriculum. 

Students who would like to be considered for a STEM Blue will need to formally apply and must be able to produce evidence that demonstrates their involvement and achievements in STEM activities and events. Applications will open on August the 9th and will close on August the 23rd. The STEM committee will review all applications and successful students will be awarded their Blue in a special STEM assembly on September the 20th.
