Futsal is a popular sport at Columba, especially within the Junior School, and 2022 saw another positive and fun season of competition for all our futsal teams.

On average, Columba has at least six futsal teams each season eager to take part in the school competitions run at the Edgar Centre during the week (Terms 1 and 4). 

This season, Columba had a Year 9/10 team in the secondary competition, a Year 7/8 team in the intermediate competition, and four teams from our Junior School entered in the primary school competition.

There are many highlights from across the season, with each team enjoying their time playing together, further developing their football skills, and representing the school with great energy and heart. A massive thank you must go to our wonderful group of student coaches, parents, and supportive managers who have coordinated our teams over the season and contributed to a positive and engaging term of sport for our students. Thank you, everyone, your contribution has been immense, and greatly appreciated.

A special mention goes to our Columba Year 5 combined team who won the Year 5-6 Division 4 title! Well done, team, you should all be super proud of your efforts. Congratulations also goes to all our other Columba teams who placed well in their divisions, and, most importantly, who represented the school with pride and passion!
