The Columba rowing team has qualified for 7 A finals at the New Zealand Secondary School Rowing Championships; finals take place on Friday and Saturday.

The Columba rowing team has been competing at the New Zealand Secondary School Rowing Championships this week at Lake Karapiro.  Heats ran over Monday and Tuesday with all crews qualifying for a repecharge, semi final or final race.  

Wednesday saw crews racing in repecharges and Thursday semi finals. Columba gained seven crews into A finals (top 8 in New Zealand), which is an amazing feat given the size of the squad.

Crews to make A finals: Under 17 4+, Under 15 double, Under 18 pair, Under 16 4+, Under 15 4+, Novice Under 18 4+, Under 17 double. You can see all races on livestream.com, google Maadi Cup. All results will be published next week.
