Students should be seen when walking during dawn and dusk.

We have had a report from the community that school-aged children in the Taieri Mouth area are walking on the road in the mornings, heading towards the local school bus pickup point and walking in the same direction as traffic (i.e. traffic coming up behind the pedestrians).

We highly recommend all students (especially in rural areas) wear Hi Viz vests during dawn and dusk.
